  • Amazing Race!

Went down to Seletar Country Club last Sunday for my little cousin's 11th birthday party. Our usual activity there is KTV. However, I was totally not in the mood for KTV on that particular day. So with the little cousins in tow, I brought them down to the bowling alley and we bowled a total of 3 games!

I always have fun with these people!

    ***************

I'm super psyched about tomorrow! All the cousins, plus Edwin, Val and Thomas are coming over to my place tomorrow for a cupcake-making/mahjong/movie-marathon party!

It all started when my Dad bought a $800 oven. Yes. No joke. $800. To think he gave me the most disapproving scowl when I told him that I was planning on getting the new iPod Nano. And the Nano is less than $300! Yet he came home one evening with a $800 oven.

Anyways, so yes, I have an $800 oven sitting in my kitchen right now. So I reckon that we should put it to good use. And since I'm not exactly Betty Crocker, I decided to ask my cousins to come over and bake some cupcakes! And before you know it, doing what we do best, we turned it into a party!

I can't wait for tomorrow! Can't wait to see how our Red Velvet Cupcakes would turn out! But more importantly, I just can't wait to hang out with everyone and have some fun!

Found out this evening that Mrs Lee Kuan Yew passed away.

I got my news from checking Twitter when I was in the car with my parents. And being the complete doofus that I am, totally misread the tweet. To which, I proclaimed to my parents: "OMG! Lee Kuan Yew is dead!" I almost flew to my death when my Dad jammed on his brakes. My mother started lamenting about how sad she was. Then when I read the tweet again, I realised that it said 'MRS Lee Kuan Yew'. 'Mrs'. Not 'Mr'. Doofus.

So I had to sheepishly clear the air with my parents. Thank God it wasn't MR Lee Kuan Yew. But still.

You know, no matter how much some people hate on him, I still think he is a great guy. He made Singapore what it is today - from a small fishing village to one of Asia's richest countries. And you can talk as much smack about him as you want, but the fact is that he helped Singapore progress, possibly through some misguided means, but the political world is a dark one. I wouldn't blame him if he had to scheme and manipulate in order to stay on top. Look, the bottomline is that Singapore is at it's best now. And Singaporeans can complain all they want about this and that, but the fact remains that we are goddamn lucky to be where we are.

Anyway, it's not like Mr Lee Kuan Yew passed on. It was his wife. And I think it's sad for a whole different reason.

Can you imagine being married to someone for 60 over years, and living every day together, and loving each other for decades, and then it's all just taken away like that? I feel so sad for our Minister Mentor. I cannot imagine the devastation and pain that he is going through right now. I believe he truly loves his wife.

Maybe that's why God makes us senile when we grow older. So we don't have to go through that kinda of emotional torture.

    On to happier news:

Those of you following me on Twitter should know that I went totally ballistic when I found out that Kevjumba was going to be on the latest season of The Amazing Race! Like, I totally lost it when I got the news. I mean, I thought it was strange when he didn't put up any new videos in months, and now I know that it was because he was busy running around the world on The Amazing Race!

And what makes it even more awesome is that fact that Kevjumba took part in The Amazing Race with his Dad!!! Papa Jumba!!!! Omg!!! Hahahaha.

I love the pair. I mean, they must be the funniest people on youtube. Period. And Kev's Dad is just the cutest. If you don't believe me, you have have HAVE to watch the video below. I laughed till I cried watching it months ago. And till this day, whenever I'm bored or feeling down, I watch it over and over again, and it still cracks me up!

ALPHA KENNY BODY! I mean, how funny is that video?! Kev's Dad is so hilarious!

Ok look, if you still don't see the awesomeness that is Kevjumba and his Dad, then there's a whole bunch of other videos at Kevjumba's youtube channel, as well as his Jumbafund channel you need to go check out.

Anyways, I stopped watching The Amazing Race at like, it's third season. And now, it's on its 17th season. That's no joke. So when I found out that Kevjumba was gonna be on the show, I had to watch it. I downloaded the show and watched it just the other night, and omg, it was awesome! It sucks so bad that Kev and his Dad didn't get much airtime, but it was still great seeing all the other teams.

Hilarious! And of course, now we all know that Kevjumba's Dad's real name is actually 'Michael'. Haha!

And here are some outtakes from that episode of The Amazing Race that did not get aired on TV.

Kevin stumbles at the beginning of the race:

Kev's Dad had a little accident. His reaction was hilarious. 'WHOA DUDE!'
Omg, I cannot wait for next week's episode! Go Team Jumba!
  • Two is better than one.

Saturday, the 25th of September, was Rudy and Sheryl's beautiful wedding. And it was my first time being a bridesmaid. Honestly, I was nervous as hell. I was afraid that I would forget something (which I did), or that I would trip over my own feet while walking down the aisle in church and rolling over the little flower girl and ring bearer like bowling pins (which I didn't). Thankfully, nothing bad at all happened.

However, after this experience with being a bridesmaid, I would have to say -

Note to self: Next time when choosing a bridal gown, don't get one that's too big.

I went over to the bride's house early in the morning to help her to church.

Of course, when the groom tried coming into the house with his entourage, we bolted the gate and demanded for a red packet. Haha!

He had to give us a red packet in the end and all was well!

We headed down to church after that for mass and lunch. It was kinda like deja vu because earlier in the year, Mel and Ryan had their wedding there too. Lol.

After that, we headed back to the bride's house for the tea ceremony.

When that was over. The bridal couple and I went to the Shangri-La hotel to check in. And I had an entire room all to myself! I was so excited. The moment I entered the room, I started jumping on the bed. I was alone in the entire room. I could do anything I want!

I filled the bathtub up with water and squeezed the entire bottle of body gel the hotel had into the tub. I had a bubble bath! But needless to say, I also almost flooded the entire toilet with bubbles. I didn't realise that when you start hosing the bubbles down the drain, it will reemerge from the grids under the sink! Lol!

Oh wells! I also took a quick nap and watch Tom and Jerry before getting ready for the dinner!

Dinner was amazing! The girl cousins and I decided to give Rudy and Sheryl a little surprise. We wanted to do like a flash mob kinda thing. Mel was scheduled to perform with Ryan, so we thought we wanted to spice it up by joining in for one song.

Just watch this video and you'll know what I mean:

I thought I was gonna be nervous as hell. But surprisingly, I was ok. I don't sing in public. I don't know why. Considering the fact that I think I have an 'ok' voice. I mean, I don't sound like Lea Michele or something, but I'm not tone-deaf. I just can't bring myself to sing in public. So this is kinda like my first time, and I love it!

And I'm glad Sheryl and Rudy enjoyed it too!

Rudy had a performance of his own! I managed to convince him to sing Bruno Mars' 'Just the Way You Are' to Sheryl, and he did! It was beautiful!

This wedding was amazing, and I feel so happy for Sheryl and Rudy! Makes me wanna cry!

  • The Kumar Show!

Had an exhausting but great Saturday! My dearest cousins, Sheryl and Rudy, are getting married next Saturday. So we decided to throw them a bachelor and bachelorette's party!

The boys all went to play paintball. I wish they would've taken a picture! They would've looked so cute - all 10 of them standing in a row in their army uniforms and guns! But boys being boys didn't take a single picture at all.

The girls on the other hand had a SPARTY! Yes, sparty. Basically a spa party! I made us bookings at a nail salon in town and we all went to get our nails done!

Our sparty ended early and we went shopping after that before meeting up with the boys for dinner at Holland Village. We went to this quaint little restaurant at the outskirts of Holland Village called Da Paolo Pizza Bar, which I greatly recommend! The pizza was mouthwatering. It was so good that I continued eating even though I was stuffed. That good. And the price is reasonable! Please please go patronize Da Paolo Pizza Bar! Best skinny pizza in Singapore!

After dinner, we took a slow walk to The Daily Scoop for yummy ice-cream! We had so much time to kill before our next programme.

Natalie and Mathieu joined us after that at the 3 Monkey's Cafe, also at Holland Village. We went to watch The Kumar Show!

To be honest, we were all pretty freaked out in the beginning. For some reason, we were terrified of Kumar and nobody wanted to sit anywhere near the stage. But we decided that since this is Sheryl and Rudy's bachelor/bachelorette's party, we have to suck it up and do something to sabotage them! So when Kumar asked if there were any celebrations that night, we pushed the happy couple up on stage! Haha!

The Kumar Show was hilarious! That guy must be the funniest drag queen ever! The show was vulgar and offensive but funny. Totally worth the cover charge paid!

Had so much fun on Saturday, and now I'm impatiently awaiting the wedding next weekend! It's gonna be my first time being someone's bridesmaid and I just hope I don't screw anything up.

Gonna head down to church after work tomorrow for the wedding rehearsal, and I'm kinda looking forward to that too! Till next week then!

    ******************

This is the song that I've been crazy obsessed with the past few weeks ever since I heard it on the radio. But even before that, I was in love with Bruno Mars. There's nothing not to like about him! And after Mike Posner, I think he has the second most sexiest voice ever!

And this song just warms and melts my cold black heart. I posted this song up on my Facebook wall some days back and managed to convince Rudy to sing this to Sheryl at the wedding next Saturday! I hope he does!

  • Selamat Hari Raya!

Long weekend last week thanks to Hari Raya. And what an awesome weekend!

On Friday, the Godsister and I decided to take the little cousins out for a movie! Our initial plans to go watch Resident Evil was ruined when we found out that that damn movie was NC16. Ughhh... So we ended up watching Cats and Dogs. Which was the crappiest show in the world, but hey, anything with dogs in it makes my day.

I actually thought the outing would be kinda awkward. I don't know. I mean, we've never actually gone out in a group before. Plus, they come from a completely different generation. My generation was filled with five stones, zero-point, and just running around playing with toys. Their generation was made up of Sony PSPs, computer games, and all things technology. Half the time, we don't even know what each other are talking about.

We used to be very tight, as kids. When they were waddling round in diapers and I would chase them around and hold their little hands. But as they grew older, I guess our different interests got the better of us. We still see each other very often - almost on a weekly basis. We still all talk and joke, but once the introductory period is over, they all whip out their different electronic devices and they are gone from reality.

So the Godsister and I are trying our best to see if we can rekindle the 'old flame' - so to speak. And this little movie outing was just the beginning! And I gotta say we had alot of fun! It wasn't awkward, we had decent conversations, and it felt good. I'm glad we had it, and I cannot wait for another outing with them!

After the movie ended, I had to rush off to meet Mel at Ryan's workplace. We headed down to Edwin's place after that for Val's 21st birthday party. We had great fun! Edwin's Dad cooked up a storm in the kitchen, and we spent the entire night playing Guitar Heroes on the Wii! I haven't played that game in ages and I forgot how much I love it! It's too bad Thomas couldn't make it. He would've been great on the drums!

The next day, my family and I went to the lantern festival at Clarke Quay! It was fun - taking a stroll down the river and just seeing all those pretty lights! Had fun with the little nephew too!

We were trying to find a nice place at Clarke Quay to sit down and have some drinks, but Saturday night at Clarke Quay is just a killer. So off to East Coast Park we went! We settled at Muddy Murphy's but I figured that being in such an environment really isn't good for a kid, so I took the little nephew to Mcdonald's, bought him a happy meal, then brought him to the playground!

Met the cousins on Sunday afternoon for lunch a Coca! Oh God the steamboat there is so awesome. We were actually there to give Rudy a surprise for his birthday. I must say it worked out very well!

Can't wait to see the cousins again tomorrow! It's Sheryl and Rudy's bachelorette and bachelor's party. The boys are going to play paintball and the girls are going for a manicure/pedicure! Then we're congregating in the evening for dinner and the Kumar show! I'm so psyched! Gonna go to sleep early tonight just so that tomorrow can come faster!

I've been on shoot the past day and today. It's boring corporate shoots, but it's been the most incredible! Mainly because of the crew. And mainly because it's my old crew! Those of you following me on Twitter should've read all my excited rants about the shoot!

I got to work with Ivan and Foo again. And I haven't met these guys since I was working at Spinn. Which was more than 2 years ago! And I've enjoyed working with them so much! We did so many shoots together back then. And they were all so memorable.

Foo is the cutest old guy ever. He even sleeps standing up in between shots! But he's hilarious and says the funniest things. Ivan is one of the most talented Director of Photography ever. And he's the nicest guy. Plus funny as hell.

Ever since I've entered this new company, I've met so many new people from the industry, and it's been so awesome. But it's great seeing familiar faces again!

When I first got to know that I would be working with Ivan again, I was so damn excited. When I got in contact with him again, I didn't let him know that it was me 'cause I wanted it to be a surprise. Surprise it was! When I reached the location shoot yesterday, the moment I got out the cab, I could see the shock in Foo and Ivan's face. It was like a reunion! We were all so excited to see each other.

Needless to say, the entire shoot was spent catching up. We talked about old times, funny things that happened during past shoots, and everything under the sun. Reminiscing is fun! They both remembered that I'm peranakan, and started speaking to me in Malay, even after I insisted I don't really understand it. And we just joked and laughed the entire day.

Ivan and I were on shoot again today. And after the shoot, went for dinner with him and another Grip. Ivan sent me home and on the way we talked about old shoots again, about church, people we worked with, his kids, everything.

It just feels so good to be in touch with old friends again. We have one more shoot together on Monday, and when that's done, I don't know when I would be able to see familiar faces again.

Everything in my life these days feels a bit foreign. I need a little more familiarity.

  • Need you now.

Today I'm sad. For so many different reasons.
Some things are just better left unsaid.

It's a quarter after one, I'm a little drunk and I need you now
Said I wouldn't call but I lost all control and I need you now
And I don't know how I can do without
    I just need you now

  • Dear Audrey, Thank You.

"You know what’s wrong with you, Miss Whoever-you-are?
You’re chicken. You’ve got no guts.
You’re afraid to stick out your chin and say,
'Okay, life’s a fact, people do fall in love, people do belong to each other,
because that’s the only chance anybody’s got for real happiness.'
You call yourself a free spirit, a 'wild thing', and you’re terrified somebody’s gonna stick you in a cage.
Well baby, you’re already in that cage. You built it yourself.
And it’s not bounded in the west by Tulip, Texas, or in the east by Somali-land.
It’s wherever you go. Because no matter where you run, you just end up running into yourself."

  • Udders!

Spent the past few weeks working like crazy. I've been immensely lethargic lately. I think it's work. But then again I think it's just me.

I'm still loving every single bit of my job and enjoying going out on shoots! I've recently been busy with The Vlee Conference at Zirca. Tomorrow will probably be my last shoot for them. And then it's the Retrolicious Concert in October. Rick Astley y'all. How cool is that? Lol.

I'll be working till 1am tomorrow night. In fact, I'll be working till 1am for the next 3 Wednesdays. I really have nothing to complain about. After all, this has been what I've always wanted!

Anyways, away from work and on to more exciting things! I've still been spending my weekends with my favourite bunch of people in the world - my cousins! Just last Saturday, Mel signed the girls up for an ice-cream making class at Udders! It was insanely fun. I never knew making ice-cream was that easy! And our ice-cream tasted so damn good! Not only did we get to make ice-cream, we also had an ice-cream buffet after that! All the Udders ice-cream and waffles you can eat!

We had lunch and went to Sheryl and Rudy's place after Udders for their wedding meeting. Can't believe it would be their wedding in just a couple of weeks! I've bought my bridesmaid dress and all and even have the bridal shower all planned out! I can't wait for their special day to arrive!

Ryan was nice enough to send me back to my office after the wedding meeting was over. Yes, I had to go back to the office on a Saturday evening because we had a shoot for The Vlee Conference that night. Oh wells. Work work work.

So remember my crazy week with David Choi?! Well, as expected, my Godsister and I ended up on David Choi's youtube channel!

And just in case you watched that video and didn't manage to see us, here's a screenshot:

ISN'T THAT JUST SO CRAZY?! Lol! I was practically screaming in front of my computer screen when I spotted our faces!

So ever since Wong Fu Productions started airing episodes of 'Fun Employed', I've been wanting to watch it for the longest time! So the other night, I decided to just start watching episodes of 'Fun Employed'. Once I started, I couldn't stop!

I watched all 11 episodes in one night. Didn't take me too long, but oh my God it's awesome!

'Fun Employed' stars Philip from Wong Fu Productions, and my favourite KevJumba (Kevjumba is gonna be on The Amazing Race!! SUPPORT!)! They have many guest stars in their episodes, but the only ones I know are David Choi, Kina Grannis, Chester See, and Ryan Higa, all of which I love! I've been subscribing to Kina Grannis's website ever since I heard this:

I've been a fan of hers ever since! I've been a faithful subscriber of Chester See and Ryan Higa as well! So seeing them on 'Fun Employed' was hilarious! I wish Natalie Tran was on the show too! She would've been perfect! Haha.

Anyways, I recommend everyone to go watch 'Fun Employed'! Ever since I started working at my current company, I've learned to appreciate independent video projects like this with great quality but small budgets. Because that's exactly what my company does, and it's not easy. Plus, I think 'Fun Employed' was shot entirely on a 5D or 7D camera! How cool!

This is my favorite episode of 'Fun Employed':

    Say you will be there

  • David Choi in Singapore!

I am typing this post with so much excitement and bubbling happiness! This weekend was just terrific beyond words. So many wonderful things happened, and I had such a blast, I can't even begin to put into words the awesomeness of this weekend.

Of course, the bulk of my happiness is due to the fact that I met David Choi, in person. And not only did I meet him, I got to talk to him, interact with him, and just get to know him better. I mean, this is a guy that I have been youtube-stalking for the past 2 years. I've been a faithful subscriber to his channel, and have been listening to him ever since he first started on youtube. You can say that I literally saw him become famous.

I never ever thought that I would get to see him in person. I mean, let's face it, he isn't really a huge star or anything. But I gotta say that I'm very surprised and impressed with his fanbase in Singapore. I really didn't think that he was that popular. I mean, he's just a youtube singer after all. But the turnout at his autograph session, and showcase at Tab, Timbre and Baybeats was shocking. Honestly, I think half the people there didn't know who he was though. You can spot the TRUE fans. Fans like me who would sing along to his every song. Then there's pseudo fans who are just there because they wanna see a star. Pffffft.

So anyway, I met my Godsister at Somerset 313's HMV on Friday evening after work because David Choi was having an autograph session there. Initially I just wanted to catch a glimpse of David, buy his album, then go have dinner before his showcase at Tab. THANK GOD my Godsister managed to persuade me to participate in the autograph session. I think about a hundred over people turned up for his autograph session. Which personally I think is super impressive for someone who doesn't even have a record label.

Anyways, David was just the cutest and most charming boy ever.

Honestly, I didn't expect him to be the way that he is. I thought he would be very different from his youtube persona. I remember telling my Mom before that someone as talented as David is probably a dick in real life. Y'know? Like, he's so fucking talented, he has no reason to be nice to anyone. So I thought he was gonna be very proud and quiet and kinda stuck up. Boy oh boy was I wrong. He was just such a ray of sunshine! He took the time to speak to each and every fan. Asked for their names. Even gave out hugs generously. I was very impressed and even more in love with David Choi after this whole experience.

He was as cute as a button! He's very tiny in person. Shorter than me, and it's very hard to be shorter than me, cause I'm fuckin' smurf.

He was kinda crazy, makin' funny faces and just saying the weirdest things. I conclude that he's a very awkward person. I don't know if it's due to a lack of sleep, jetlag or whatever, but David Choi is a very strange boy. I still love him though.

After the autograph session, my Godsis and I went to grab some dinner and dessert before taking a slow walk down to Tab at Orchard Hotel.

I really really like Tab. As a matter of fact, I think I'm gonna patronize it more often! It's nice and spacious, so even if the place is packed, you don't feel suffocated. And the crowd there is more mature. No kiddies or teenagers etc. It's just a nice place to chillout, have some food, drinks, and just listen to good music.

In fact, I like Tab so much, I'm gonna try and get The Accidental Wakeup to perform there. I've asked the band, and they're psyched! So we'll see what happens!

The great thing about that night was not just David Choi, but we made new friends! We met the cutest bunch of people, who I believe are the only other true David Choi fans. My Godsis and I invited them to join us at our table, since they didn't make reservations and had to stand. So we pretty much spent the night together! And I'm glad because they're as silly as I am, and we had so much fun that night, together with David.

We wrote love letters to David, asking him to marry us (he said 'I do' by the way, proof is in the video embedded below). We cheered at everything he said. And we sang along to all his songs.

It was funny because there was a point in time before David went up on stage to perform where he actually sort of recognized us from his earlier autograph session, and he came over to our table and said 'hi'. And we tried our best to remain calm and contain our excitement. So we responded with a very cold shrug and "Hey Dave. 'Sup?" But the moment he walked away, he were practically squealing.

Videos of David singing! These are 2 of my favourite David Choi songs!

We ambushed David after his set and talked to him for a bit and snapped some photos. He's honestly the nicest guy ever. Super down to earth and with no airs. He held another mini autograph session and my Godsis and I decided to let him sign our CDs yet again. So the boy had fun vandalizing our CD covers, as you can tell from the picture above. So cute.

Oh! And then the most exciting thing happened! Ok, if you're a true David Choi fan, you would know the David Choi Dance. It's this little retarded dance that David always does. It has appeared in many of his videos, and I guess the most memorable time is when he did a music video with KevJumba and Wong Fu Productions on youtube. So if you have no idea what the David Choi Dance is, please take a look at this video first:

Isn't that the most hilarious thing ever?! So during David's showcase at Tab, we were sitting at our table and doing that dance. David was laughing at us, and he decided to do the dance on stage. So he got up on his chair, and did the dance. It was so funny and so cute I almost died laughing.

So after his show was over and Tab was almost empty, he grabbed David, and asked him to do the dance with us, while we filmed it. And David, being the greatest sport ever, actually agreed! So there we stood in a row, doing the DAVID CHOI DANCE!!!!

It was epicccccc! Oh my God David is so cute and so nice. I'm so in love with him now.

And I'm so sure we're gonna end up in his youtube videos!! Most probably in 'David Choi in Singapore Part 4'. But in the meantime, here's part 3! David visits 987fm and Marina Bay Sands!

    ****************

The band and I spent Saturday evening having dinner, and then on to Baybeats! My main focus was to catch the David Choi showcase, and I was gonna drag the rest of the band with me.

It was kinda a bummer that David did the exact same setlist from his showcase at Timbre and Tab. But y'know, I don't really care. Mel and Val were nice enough to stay with me till the entire David Choi set was over. The boys I think were kinda overwhelmed by the screaming fangirls, so they sneaked off.

The rest of the band didn't really like David Choi. I don't blame them. I mean, the thing about David is his covers. His original stuff isn't really that impressive. And since the band didn't get a chance to listen to his covers, it's a no wonder why they didn't become immediate fans. But it's okay! They can mock me all they want! I still love me some David Choi!

We hung out at Starbucks after Baybeats and just chilled. And by 'chill' I mean we did what we do best - create a ruckus in public places and laughing till we cry.

We then went down to Butter Factory for Jean's birthday party.

I swear I'm too old for this whole clubbing thing. I was exhausted when I came home, and even though I slept till lunch time today, I'm still so dead beat now. I don't know. I think I outgrew this whole partying thing very young. That's not a bad thing though, right?

    *****************

Thank God for Mel, Ryan and Thomas this evening, otherwise I would've had to spend my Sunday night alone. Haha.

Ryan picked me up in the evening and we went to the airport for some Popeyes Chicken! Can't wait to see the band again this Tuesday! And we're having a sleepover/movie marathon at Mel's place this Saturday. More Donnie Yen movies!

And we're also planning a band retreat. Hopefully to like, Bintan or something. Woots!

    Life is good.

  • The Accidental Wakeup.

2 Sundays ago, Mel, Ryan, Thomas, Edwin, Val and I gathered at the Deskers' residence for a photoshoot! The band decided that they wanna do this band thing for real! We're not like, some commercial band that's gonna cut records or something. I mean, obviously, we're not good enough for that. But The Accidental Wakeup does gigs like weddings and parties.

We're gonna have our very own website up and running soon. I'm still working on that with the help of my bandmates, but once it's live, I will post it up here! So if you guys know someone who knows someone who knows someone who's getting married or having some party that requires a band, consider The Accidental Wakeup! What we can provide is not just good music, but also a company of friends and good entertainment!

2 nights ago, the band met up for dinner and for practice. Thomas passed me all the photos from the photoshoot, and it's awesomeeee!

These photos are gonna be mainly for our website, youtube and facebook pages. I can't wait to get everything done and share it with friends and family!

I'm really so glad that these guys consider me part of the band. I mean, I don't sing, play instruments or even dance. Well, not in public at least. But I've been the one working behind the scenes. Helping them with rehearsals, editing videos, and designing all their collaterals.

It's nice to finally feel like I'm part of something special.

You have no freakin' idea how psyched I am that this week is finally coming to an end! Guess who I'll be seeing tomorrow night???? QUICK! GUESS!!

It's......... wait for it......... DAVID CHOI!

I've been watching this guy's videos for the past 2 years or so, and now I'm gonna get to meet him! FINALLY!

I'll be heading down to HMV after work tomorrow with my Godsister. David Choi is gonna be having an autograph session there. Don't worry. I'm not gonna be one of 'em fangirls who queue up and scream. I've had my fair share of that when I was in secondary school. Lol. I kinda outgrew it. But I just wanna catch a glimpse of David, and maybe even purchase his album.

After that, Godsister and I will be heading down to Tabs for David Choi's showcase! I even reserved seats and everything! Without a doubt, I know tomorrow night's gonna be so damn awesome!

And what's even more awesome is that on Tuesday, Thomas suggested that the band go down to Baybeats this Saturday and catch the show! And DAVID CHOI IS PERFORMING ON SATURDAY! So I practically hopped on my chair and threw pom-poms in the air when Thomas suggested it. So I'll be seeing David Choi again this Saturday at Baybeats with the band! Ryan and Mel are skeptical about the awesome-ness that is David Choi. Imma do my best to change their minds!

Oh! And David Choi uploaded videos of his adventures in Singapore yesterday and today!

It's kinda strange, yet cool at the same time to see Singapore through David Choi's eyes. It's kinda sad though that they had to put him up in such a sucky hotel! But it looks like David's having fun! He seems to be enjoying our food and even the fans. I guess his only complain is that Singapore is too humid. Lol. I can't wait to see him tomorrow!
